So Karly and I had a conversation some time back and were talking about what some of our friends Chris & Brooke's kids might look like. Mostly cause they look nothing alike. Which isn't bad. It's just that it got our minds going. So when we got home we found some pictures of them and started messing around in photoshop. With a little help from Gordon Peterson we got some ridiculous looking results as you can see. This of course was also done on the Conan O'Brien Show for several years. And I can't deny the Great Pale One's influence.
Well, I decided to keep going with it long after Karly and Gordon stopped thinking it was as funny. I might never stop being amused by it. A time I think i'll never forget is when Mike Pionke, Aaron Anderson and I defaced the back of Aaron's phone book. It was a group picture of Siegfried & Jensen. We were laughing like crazy, it was ridiculous. One guy was made to look like Elvis , another a clown, it was so dumb but I laughed so hard I was drooling. Aaron scanned it and I emailed it to the law firm. I never heard back if they liked it or not. Anyway... enjoy these mutant couples below. As you can see, over time i'm perfecting my craft. But I think the lesson I've learned in all this is that God does a much better job of combining the finer features of a couple than I ever could. And only He can help us if, heaven forbid, a child grew up to look like any one of these...

Chizzeck the link to the right, y'all! It's been hiding out over there, but now I'm ready for peeps to peep it for rizzeal. This is where I'll be posting my photography, mainly. For an in depth explanation hit up the FIRST POST.
The name's origin, since you might ask, comes from a Plymouth that was used as New York's cop cars during the 80's as well as other fleet vehicles. (as seen below) It is also the name of an AIDS awareness group formed in 1988. And since police work and Aids activism are such huge passions of mine... I thought the name was fitting for my photoblog. On a serious note, being as passionate as I am about stuff and as often as I get outraged at small things, I think the name is fitting and expresses something I can relate to. As a child I would get so mad I'd hold my breath til I passed out. Little has changed. So, I wanted to use "Gets Extremely Worked Up Over Nothing" or "Shakes His Tiny Fist At The Sky" but they lacked the snappy ring I was looking for. Plus, I really do like 70's & 80's cars. The Plymouth Gran Fury was introduced to the world in some form in 1970 and went out of production at its height in 1989. You see? It spans my favorite decades. One day I'll have one.
Anyway, check it out from time to time. And tell your friends...
$10 doll-hairs to whoever can name that song. Did I mention they are gold doll hairs?!!!
So we did it. Got married that is. Then we went to Italy on our honeymoon. It was very fun.
My brother-in-law Paul took pictures along with Karly's brother Nathan and her Dad Randy. This one of Paul's happens to be my favorite. I realize this blog has gotten to be a lot about pictures of Karly and I, so I'll try to steer it back to it's original direction sooner than later... that being to ralph my condescending, banal, half-baked theories and observations on friends and passers-by that don't deserve to be treated in such a way, but have elected to of their own volition by logging on to this blog. So wait for that to get started up again real soon.....
But yes, we got married. And all I can remember from the wedding (cause I was a little high! j/k) are two things: 1) How beautiful Karly and all the flowers and decorations were and 2) How I didn't have enough time to talk to all the people who came (some from a long distance). The latter memory fills me with some regret. So I want to take this moment to thank all my friends and family that came out to see me. You know who you are. I'm sorry I didn't get to talk to you more. Not for your sake, cause we all know how tiresome talking to me is, but for mine. I love the people in my life. Your presence at my wedding did not go unnoticed and it meant a lot and still does. Thank you so much for coming.
For those of you who could not attend (Bad, bad people! Shame on you!), you missed a great event. One of the highlights for me were the toasts. Yes, a little overindulgent, but I liked them and I don't care. Alex Kirry is a very close and important friend who could not make it. We decided to pre-record his toast and show it at the wedding. Always the entrepeneur, he took it in a direction that I didn't expect, but I'll let you see it for yourself. Here it is for your viewing pleasure. (Shot and edited by yours truly, of course.) The outtakes are pretty good too and can be seen on youtube as well. There will be a post coming soon about the honeymoon cause I know you all are dying to know how it was!

From none but self expect applause;

Who makes and keeps his self-made laws."
